Robert Gerhard, the composer who made music evolve from classical to electronic, died in Cambridge in 1970. He had gone there into exile, fleeing the Spanish Civil War, and stayed there for 30 years. With the help of the Gerhard Quartet, the documentary rescues from oblivion this musician from Valls, considered one of the most important of the second half of the 20th century, and solves the political, musical and family mysteries of this unjustly forgotten.
When he was at the top as a world-renowned tenor, Josep Carreras was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia with a very poor prognosis. An experimental medical treatment saved his life. In gratitude to science and the people who supported it, he created Fundació JC contra la leucèmia to give back to society all that had been given to him. This is a story of overcoming and commitment that excites and comforts.
Johan Cruyff, legend of football and Barça, died in 2016. In August 2019, Barça inaugurated, with his name, the new stadium for 6,000 people, inside the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. The field is intended for the women’s team and the subsidiary, where young people play on their way to the dream of, one day, reaching the first team.
The documentary follows the demolition of the Mini Stadium and the construction of the new Johan Cruyff Stadium until its inauguration.
